This week we are moving back to Saturday morning release, so we thought we would add a bonus drill and system this week for you all!

I know a lot is happening at this time of year, with playoffs starting or just around the corner. We have added a 6v5 face-off and a good play-off flow drill.

SYSTEM OF THE WEEK

6v5 FO Win Wall Double Stack

1. C wins puck back to high F.

2. High F then passes to wide D dropping into the slot area for a shot.

3. Three low forwards attack the net for screen or back door pass.

DRILL OF THE WEEK

2 vs 0, 2 vs 1, 3 vs 2 with D

A good drill to practice line rushes to increase speed and puck touches.

1. F1 and F2 attack 2 vs 0 on the goalie. 

2. Coach1 spots a puck, F1 and F2 regroup and attack 2 vs 1 on D1 that joined at the blue-line.

3. After 2 vs 1 plays out Coach 2 spots a puck to D1 who then breaks out F1, F2 and F3 that joined.

4. F1,F2 and F3  then attack two new D that joined at the blue-line.
